Data Glove 5 Ultra/Data Glove 14 Ultra
The 5DT Data Glove Ultra is designed to satisfy the stringent requirements of modern Motion Capture and Animation Professionals. It offers comfort, ease of use, a small form factor and multiple application drivers. The high data quality, low cross-correlation and high data rate make it ideal for realistic realtime animation.
The 5DT Data Glove 5 Ultra measures finger flexure (1 sensor per finger) of the user’s hand.
The 5DT Data Glove 14 Ultra measures finger flexure (2 sensors per finger) as well as the abduction between fingers.
The system interfaces with the computer via a USB cable. A Serial Port (RS 232 - platform independent) option is availible through the 5DT Data Glove Ultra Serial Interface Kit. It features 8-bit flexure resolution, extreme comfort, low drift and an open architecture. The 5DT Data Glove Ultra Wireless Kit interfaces with the computer via Bluetooth technology (up to 20m distance) for high speed connectivity for up to 8 hours on a single battery. Right- and left-handed models are available. One size fits many (stretch lycra).

The 5DT Data Glove MRI Series is optimized for use in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environments. The glove itself does not contain any magnetic parts. It communicates with a control box (5-7m away) via optical fiber. The control box interfaces with the computer via a cable to the serial port (RS 232 - platform independent). 5-Sensor and 14-sensor models are available. Right- and left-handed models are available. One size fits many (stretch lycra).
Data Glove Ultra MRI
The MRI glove series offers the same USB interface functionality as the Data Glove Ultra Series, but with an 8m long fibre bundle between the glove control board. This configuration is suitable for MRI environments where no metal parts are desired near the user.

The 5DT Ultra Wireless Kit is a plug-and-play kit for the 5DT Ultra series of data gloves. Each belt-worn wireless kit is designed to transmit the data for 2 gloves simultaneously. This means that a single wireless transceiver and battery pack is used for both gloves, saving both space and power. Up to 4 wireless kits (8 gloves) can be used at the same time.
Wireless Kit
The 5DT Wireless Kit allows you to use 2 gloves wirelessly in one compact package with a range of up to 20m. The wireless kit comes standard with a belt and 2 high-capacity battery packs which each last up to 8 hours with 2 gloves connected.
5DT Ultra Serial Interface KitThe 5DT Serial Interface Kit allows you to use any 5DT Ultra Series glove with a serial port. This is useful for machines that only have serial ports or for embedded devices.
